Stages of Senioritis

Dec 13, 2007 22:49

Dear Diary,

Today I visited my shrink and she taught me the stages of senioritis.

Stage one:
Take more time to finish homework assignments, mild procrastination but always get the work done, mostly focused in class
- diagnosed 3rd grade

Stage two:
Dozing off in class, does not start homework until late evening - night time, still get the homework done, medium procrastination on homework, does not start on projects until a few days before the due date
- diagnosed 8th grade

Stage three:
Eyes begin to involuntarily shut during class or lectures, homework does not start until night, procrastination on all assignments, average hours of sleep is under 7, does not complete insignificant homework assignments
- diagnosed junior year

Stage four:
Intended naps through long intervals during class or lectures, homework might not start at all, refusal to do homework, procrastination is inevitable, average hours of sleep is 5 or under, apathetic view of school
- diagnosed senior year
