So I just finished taking my final for HIST 111 aka the class that was a total failure for me because it was supposed to be easy as hell but now my grade for the class is probably on the lower end of the spectrum. GAH...I *hate* multiple choice because no matter how I guess, I'll still guess the wrong thing. And since I guessed on at least 5 questions, I'll probably miss 10 points (2 points for each). And the way they grade, 10 points probably means 3.0 or less (heck, for my second midterm I missed 4 points and I already had a 3.6!!! >__<). Man, I really do miss science classes. Yes, it's curved and the competition is to the extreme but...I like it that way. ^^;; At least I know it's going to be hard and so I'll put forth more effort. The fact that HIST 111 is a freshie class plus my TA's arbitrary grading style equals Carmen doesn't even bother to try.
Oh, but I got my essay back and...it's surprisingly good. O__o Not good enough for a regular essay but good in terms of the amount of effort I put in it. I didn't even cite properly in the essay, and I was just bullshitting my way through since I was in Las Vegas and who freakin' wants to work on an essay while on vacation!?!? I even turned my bibliography late yet I still had a higher grade than on the first essay. We get our essay back after we turn in our final and even though I was done by the first hour, I still didn't turn it in b/c I was dreading getting my essay back that much. I was totally expecting something below a 3.0, but I looked at it and went =O.
This quarter was a total failure. It seemed so 4.0-able at first since it has no science classes but everything went downhill after I got my 1st essay back for history. I just hope I can at least stay on the Dean's List, but that's only if I get a good grade for JAPN 321 to raise up my GPA for this quarter.
That and I just checked and PHYS 123 is *full*!!! O__o The reason is since I didn't take the series consecutively, I can't register until the first day of Winter Quarter. So I honestly hope people fail Physics 122 or they decide not to take it so I can get a spot.
