"Night Terrors"
by Daniel Mitchell
06/14/2007

In fields of green on a daydream day
You are happy
But here in this stark reality
Life is grey
Watch the clouds go by for hours and days
Waste your life in a variety of ways

Hold your breath
Make a wish
Break your heart
Slit your wrists
Life is never promised only given
And it can be taken away in just an instant

Without you by my side
I have nothing left to fight
For which is worse to love or lose?
A choice I have no chance to choose

A drop in the eternity of life
As beautiful as the night sky

She tastes the bitter taste of enevitable defeat
No one to turn to and anything but free
A silent scream is all you hear
Each night is filled with inconsolable fear
I would give anything to be her sunrise
Anything, even my life

"Think of Me"
06/13/2007

You say you've had it all
And you can't take it anymore
You only ever call me
When you're lying on the bathroom floor
There's something I have to tell you and I'm terrified to
But I think you already know how I feel about you

So dry your tears baby
It's a brand new day
You'll never face down your fears
Living your life this way
Everytime you can't go on
Everytime you don't feel strong
Just think of me
Just think of you and me

There's a sunrise somewhere with your name written all over it
And the stars they sing your name to me
I feel you in every breath of wind
Each new day I fall in love all over again
And there's always an endless night to look forward to
Cause time stands still for me when I'm with you

So dry your tears baby
It's a brand new day
You'll never face down your fears
Living your life this way
Everytime you can't go on
Everytime you don't feel strong
Just think of me
Just think of you and me

"The Box"
by Daniel Mitchell
06/20/2007

In a box on the window sill
Completely filled
My heart poured out on sheets of paper
Never read
Ink fading over time
Spelling out the name of a girl never really mine

Unsent Letters
Sent me here
I scream your name as loud as I can
But you won't hear

Whispered love never told
As pen touches paper telling stories now so old
She lives her life in blissfull ignorance
But I can't

Because unsent Letters
Brought me here
I scream your name as loud as I can
But you won't hear

One day I hope you read them
I hope you feel what I felt in them
I hope you see what I went through
I hope you know how I feel about you
