My day:

Jun 02, 2008 03:09

1. My youngest brother, Zack, graduated from high school today. Awwww. I think that was the 7th or 8th Mt. Pleasant High School graduation I've had to sit through. I really hope it's the last.

2. Went on a damn-near-10-mile walk with Barbie, Brian, and this other kid who went to my high school who I wasn't super-close friends with. After Mark, the other guy, left, Brian said he wants to take Barbie and me to a shooting range on Tuesday for zombie-killing practice. I said yes, actually...providing I get to supply pictures of Hemingway for targets.

3. Bought beer with Barbie & Brian. Drank it at the top of my yard up where my dad parks his car, next to the abandoned parking space of the old neighbors' abandoned house. It was super-shady.

4. We walked to Glass Mountain (this hill covered in glass from a factory explosion like a hundred years ago), located in this park across the street from my dad's house. We got lost in the dark trying to find a path up and I have twigs in my hair and my pants are all dirty and I am going to be covered in bruises tomorrow. It was pitch-black and like a bad horror movie. We finally made it to the top and we sat and looked at the stars and sang songs and joked about getting eaten by bears and how the scenario reminded us of a horrible slasher movie.

Background info:

Brian and I went to kindergarten, elementary school, and high school together. He was one of my best BFFs and I hadn't seen him since his high school graduation party four years ago, just because we've never been around at the same time. He was my first kiss and got me drunk for the first time. His younger sister, Leigh Ann, was also one of my best high school BFFs; we used to be in Girl Scouts together when I was 12 and she was 10. Now she goes to Ohio State and I haven't seen her in ages.

Barbie was a freshman in high school when I was a senior; I met her through the anime club I started for my senior project. Currently she goes to Point Park and I usually hang out with her when I'm in Pittsburgh.

All you get are facts, the recording of events, because I had a fabulously sublime night and those kinds of things don't translate well into livejournal entries.
