Hey, what do you know? My mom's friend, who has graciously allowed me to stay with her has internet access!!!! And her house is so nice! She showed me this huge freezer that was so shockingly huge (from floor to ceiling) that she had to tell me to close my mouth, which was opened in astonishment. I was a bit nervous about staying with her because we never met, but we have hit it off really well. Plus, she has two dogs that adore me. :)
I keep forgetting how big everything is here in the US. I reserved a full-size car and when I went to get the keys, the agent tried to convince me to upgrade because he doubted my grandmother's wheelchair would fit. When I opened the boot it looked as if I could fit 3 bodies in there without a problem nevermind one measly wheelchair.
I am off to see my mom today and then meet up with a childhood friend. It is good to know I will have access to the Internet.
