*stretch* *yawn*
Still have yet to recover this weekend. Now that I hit 37, which is only 3 years away from 40 and racing towards middle age, I find some things are different. Can someone please answer the following:
1) Why have I suddenly found the beginning of a loooong wrinkle going across my forehead?
2) How come my workmate has been able to pick out the strands of grey in my hair and never said anything before?
3) Why do I have a lot of energy, but it takes just a tad bit longer to recover?
4) Am I a lamb in sheep's clothing? (baaaaaa)
I am serious about the wrinkle. I noticed it a few weeks ago. It is barely there, but it is a definite start to a wrinkle. I always take good care of my skin, but I can see it starting...the sagging.....I know my tits will be down to my knees very soon, thus one of the reasons why I would never get a nipple piercing. No way in hell do I want to be 80 years old and in a nursing home and having my nipples defying gravitiy with a ring through it. That is oh-so-not rock and roll.
So, in celebration of getting to be an older and more wrinkled bag, I am getting a tattoo. Have already been to two tattoo places and checking out a third that was recommended. This is my idea for a tattoo - a dragon roasting a marshmallow on a stick. And not just a cartoon dragon, but a regular, big toothed, proper wings dragon with a bit of an evil grin on his face and flames coming out. One artist looked at me like I lost my mind, but said he loved the idea. I will be looking at a design he is drawing this week. So, instead of sagging tits with rings in each end I will have wrinkly skin that will need to be stretched in order to properly see the tattoo. A nice compromise.
