Compromising My Life Right Now
Today is the first day of the second semester. You might say it's early but it's not. If you're a PNU-an, this is normal for you.
Anyway, we had around 2 weeks of the semester break and I really wasted my time well. Wasted, meaning used it well! LOL! I mean, I downloaded Season 1 and 2 of Kimi ni Todoke, ripped a copy of Hana Yori Dango, wrote a Ron/Hermione fanfiction, read tons of chapters of Detective Conan (I'm actually reading in the other tab), cleaned my room, washed my shoes and my stuffed toys and seriously a lot more...
But sadly, I didn't visit any relatives last All Saints' Day. Well, my deceased relatives are all in Bicol, my province. My mom went home, but we stayed because the fare is seriously expensive. But I did pray for them though.
Anyway, as I said, today is the first day of the Second Semester and I'm officially enrolled! I did have trouble enrolling on the designated day because my grade for Advanced Statistics wasn't recorded in the Registrar,. To make the story short, this was the only time I had to finish it. Today was really... stupid? Well, maybe not! You see, it's a tradition in PNU that first and second days are boring because the professors either don't want to do their responsibilities yet or just get the classcards of students, give a few rules and eventually leave... hmmm.... the best part of the day was to see my classmates again and see Nami-jins again! Awwwww! I love all of them! LOL! They're just really important to me and seeing them felt like I was gone for so long and saw them again!
Besides that, I realized many things. Classcards from the previous semester came in and I can see and expect (hopefully not) that some are my grades are line-of-seven... The previous semester was a roller coaster ride! And the loops in that ride was my fandom, Harry Potter.
I really noticed that I became so lazy because my fandom is there. The final movie was out, my HP otaku powers were charging and until now my otaku powers are still strong. I joined loads of forums, Pottermore, WB! Everything Harry Potter was there that I don't want to leave it. And I never want to leave it! I love the forums, the community, the fandom, the whole Potterverse, EVERYTHING! I love it so much it would be so painful to let it go...
But, I don't want to leave my academics. I want to study, and I want to do this. The previous semester might be the laziest I felt when it came to studying... I relied on my classmates for the homeworks, I kept asking seatmates about the seatworks, and I was standing stupidly alone in the quizzes and the exams. I really think I was stupid. I did put in effort, I tell you that, but it's the type of effort that doesn't deserve an A.
hmmm....
I really felt scared for the first day, and why the hell? It's the second semester, it's not worth being scared!
But I was... Mathematics Research, Calculus 3, Differential Equations, they seems to eat me alive even just saying their names! What more when I study them?
Tell me I'm stubborn and stupid, but I have no intention to sacrifice my fandom... for now anyway...
So now, I have to compromise... My schedule is packed! Monday/Thursday, 9AM-8:30PM and on Tuesday/Friday, 8AM-8:30PM. Read that again so that you can digest it more. Yup, that's my schedule... with 30 units!
So I decided this. And I really hope I could follow this.
After school, go home and study...harder. Then wake up a bit early in the morning, and do my fandoms! I'm looking forward to making it work!
As for weekends, Saturdays are most likely for Nami but I will squeeze in Academics and fandoms...
So right now, wish me luck and do pray for me! To other people too! Thanks! LOL!
