Kindergarten
I love how snow days make everyone turn into kids again. This morning there was about 3 inches of snow on the ground when I woke up. Of course, every school in Eugene, including the community college, was closed for the day. Every school but the UO.
Whatev.
I just sat in class, watching snow fall - which is amazing. People were having snowball fights, and I saw no less then 10 snowmen around campus. Everyone is walking around, crazily bundled up. Remember how our parents used to bundle us up? Scarves and hats and gloves and layers? Everyone is doing it, voluntarily! It's amazing. And fun. My last class of the day got cancelled, so I took a sweet nap. Such a kid again!
Tonight is my first real night of duty. No pages yet! We had an entertaining first set of rounds - Carolyn and I have decided to name it the night of close calls. We got to call DPS, and Officer Meyers came, but the residents were gone. Lame-o.
It's supposed to be nasty cold tonight, resulting in ice tomorrow, So excited!
