Rain...
So it has at least temporarily stopped raining. However, it is still nasty outside right now...77 and cloudy/foggy with nearly 100% humidity...ick. The temperature is supposed to be similar for the next few days but its supposed to be partly sunny with scattered thunderstorms. Everyday this week the high is in the upper 70s and the low is in the lower 70s with a 40-60% chance of rain. Fun. Seeing the sun would be nice though because then I might actually be able to figure out where things are in relation to one another. I haven't seen the sun at all since I've been here so I really have no clue where North, South, East and West are, which is very annoying. Usually I have a really good sense of direction but I haven't been able to get my bearings without the sun.
I want to go walk around the neighborhood but I'm afraid I'll get lost since I don't have any sense of direction right now. I can get to school and Wal-Mart from my hotel but that's easy becasue I can see the school from the front of the building and I know Wal-Mart is just on the other side of the row of hotels that runs perpendicular to the road mine is on. Wal-Mart and the school are on the same pretty main road about 2 blocks away from each other. My hotel is about halfway between them but 2 blocks from the road they're on. I think the teacher apartments are another 3 or 4 blocks past my hotel because I know I'm between the apartments and the school. But without knowing my directions its really hard to describe where things are in relation to one another. And I definately have no clue where I'm at in relation to the rest of the city and country. I can't even tell you which way the ocean is from here. I'm a little confused...and I hate being confused.
