In a group of 9 boys, there’s always bound to be fights, arguments and disagreements. One was happening at the moment, causing the remaining 7 boys to either hide themselves in their rooms or try to stop the fight.
“Don’t you fucking know what’s personal space?” Siwan yells as he planted his hand on KwangHee’s right cheek. “If you ever do that again I wouldn’t hesitate in ending our friendship”.
Just a couple of hours ago, KwangHee had attempted to kiss him on the lips when the filming was still going on. For fangirls it would have been a moment of bliss but for Im Siwan, he felt harassed and disgusting. Well obviously his best friend was just being too touchy, and nothing more than that, but he always failed to take that as a joke.
“If our friendship is such a piece of joke to you, then fine” KwangHee retorted after regaining his composure. “I don’t even need such shallow friends” he continued, yelling the last part of it as if he’d want the entire world to know just how narrow-minded Siwan is, walking off the scene and out of their dorm while slamming the door hard behind him.
No one except HeeChul follow suit in dashing out after the resident’s comedian while JunYoung tried his best in calming the now hysterical Siwan who’s currently smashing the nearest things he could find. Both boys were just as stubborn when it comes to the things they agree or disagree to and in this case, none of them are giving in, which annoys Siwan so badly. Surely, to a certain extent he wanted to mean what he said but deep inside he didn’t want their friendship to end, not now and never would he want that to happen in his entire lifetime. He just couldn’t believe it after all the times he’s threatened the older boy with this had he taken this so seriously.
As time passed, he began to grow really upset and annoyed at the fact that his ex-best friend is never by his side. Never there to annoy him and make him mad. Never there to give him compliments on the things he did well or excelled in. Never there to lend him a shoulder when he needed comfort. Never there to ruffle his hair when he did something silly. And most importantly, he’s never there to listen to him opening up about this deepest hidden feeling he had towards the boy.
He, Im Siwan, of all people on the earth, is deeply in love with Hwang KwangHee, whether he likes it or not. Never had he realize about this feelings until the day he saw the ball of sunshine cuddling with their arrogant rapper in the recording studio the other day. Hwang KwangHee cuddling with someone isn’t something odd or peculiar, but Hwang KwangHee holding someone’s waist so possessively while staring into his eyes so lovingly is another thing. He tried to shrug it off thinking it as KwangHee being all touchy again but reality just had to smack him in the face when he caught them kissing in the living room one night. A part of him wished that he was the one KwangHee was kissing, not HeeChul.
The pang of jealousy that hit him hard was really unbearable that his legs gave way and he fell on the ground tears streaming down his cheeks to remind him that he would never be in that position no matter how he tried to turn back time. And no matter how hard he tried in fighting away that pain in his chest, he simply failed so miserably. Not only had he lost his best friend, he had also lost the his heart to the person he secretly treasured so much.
