So, a couple of days ago, my tire exploded on 595 in front of the airport as I was caught between two semis and I very nearly died.
Now everytime my car makes the slightest noise that's unusual or it vibrates even a little weird my heart starts racing and I break out into a cold sweat.
I think I've narrowly escaped a car breakdown related death one too many times.
I can't believe I'm terrified of driving.
PS - I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKING BUT IT WASN'T MY FAULT. The guy who put on the new tire said there was something wrong with the stem valve. There hadn't been anything wrong with the stem valve before so something must have hit it. The guy said I wouldn't have had to drive on it for half a block for the tire to do what it did. SO HA.
