Sooo.. I just found out that my Chili's (The Original) is closing for good on the 31st.
Everyone I love working with is about to be without jobs. The managers gave us a list of other Chili's in the area we can transfer to. I'm thinking about the knox location. This is a very depressing start to my day.
They rebuilt this store in '81.. So many costumers and staff have so many memories from all those years. People come from other states to see this location, take photos, and bring home something, like a coaster, or children's menu. The reason I applied to this Chili's was because it didn't look like the others, it had an upstairs, and low ceilings. It looked a little country.
We are going to miss eating there, but will hold dear the memories.
