When life gives you rotten lemonade, make the best damned lemonade you've ever had!

So Company auditions for a pre-professional company were on sunday..
and I was told by my teacher on wednesday night that I am too old to be in it,
and I have trouble with my feet, and always have, and they will always be a problem.
so pretty much my ballet dreams have been crushed. I will never make it pro.
My teacher is going to try to find some performing opportunities outside the company, since thats my main passion. so I need to dance my heart out just because I love it, not because it will go anywhere.
and I'm thinking about Drama classes at Richland College, since I will have extra time with no rehearsals.
I've been kinda depressed today, and last night.. but I think I'll be fine soon. maybe something
new will open itself up to me. I don't know. I will continue to do what I love most.
I just don't know what to tell people who also auditioned when they ask if I made it in. I don't want to go on in detail, but I also don't want them to get the wrong idea about my teacher.. whom I have grown more fond of since this whole thing.. I know how hard it was for her to tell me this, and I know how much she feels bad about it, and wants me to be in the company.. if only I were 16 again, then all would be well.
age is a horrible thing, when you are expected to be so good at a certain age, and if not, then you can't succeed. I hurts when dreams a re shattered.. but it happens to so many of us, all we can do is just keep our head up, and hope something good will come of it. also my teacher is going to see if she can work out me teaching at the studio.. which would be so awesome. so.. thats life. gotta deal. I ain't good enough for the ballet world, and I'm too old. I knew that from the beginning, but I was hoping someone would overlook that.
apparently not even the people who know me can.
