1. mr. o'roark, eighth grade math. i probably wouldn't have avoided science/math for all of my life after him had i never encountered him. jackass.
2. being mean to ian when i'm mad at myself or generally hormonally unbalanced.
3. i am proud of my grades and my cooking.
4. my grandparents are helping me with college so i don't graduate with a mound of debt. i never asked for it and they never asked for anything in return. grandma said she has a little excess money and she wanted to spend it on someone she likes.
5. i got ian an 'i (heart) briophyte' t-shirt for christmas last year. i don't think he has ever worn or will ever wear it, but i bet he'll giggle about it for a long time.
