Job Searching Stats
Just so everyone has an idea of how much of a headache I have now, have had in the past, and will have in the future, here are some some of the numbers that go along with my job search this year...
... 3 jobs fairs that I attended this past year of searching for a job
... 14 applications mailed to different school districts
... 2 jobs applied to through e-mail, to different school districts
... 11 school districts that I faxed my information to
... 47 school districts that I applied to through the Internet.
... 82 positions that I applied for through the online job application websites (BOCES sites)
... 10 job interviews that I actually went on!
So as of right now...
... 63 total school districts that I applied to this year and...
... 111 different jobs that I applied to.
Damn that's a lot, and thats not including all the time I spent calling school's, typing up cover letters, and working on my portfolio (that has now offically been used at 1 job interview!). What a headache!
