I got a job!!!!!

Well, I got a ton of news to write about. For starters, my life has become extremly busy. At least this time, the busy is a good thing. Going back to the interviews from the past weeks, there was two on Tuesday and another on Wednesday. The first one on Tuesday was horrid. I went into the office and almost walked back out the door. The place was such a mess! There were papers everywhere and there was not much of a floor to walk on, never mind space to work at. Never heard from anyone there though. The second one on Tuesday went much better. Very good actually, cause the lady there offered me a job on the spot to start next week! I was shocked. The pay wasnt that good, but its still something and thats better than nothing at all. The interview on Wednesday was okay. I debated going at all and decided to go. It was with another job agency. I filled out all the paper work for them. Didnt really get a good vibe from the office I must say, and they had no positions really. That was the interviews, but then Thursday got really interesting. I got a call from the place I had the first interview that was on Monday. They wanted me to come in for a second interview on Friday. Friday I went to the interview, curious what might go on. Well, it wasn't really an interview. It was to talk to me about benifits, pay, and to show me around the office, offering me the job there as well! So it's Friday and I got two job offers on the table. I though about things for an hour and decided that I was going to take the job that I went for the interview on Monday and visited earlier that day.

So, here's a little bit about my job. The position is with a real estate company. They're pretty big is size, spread out among three counties in the area here and its a national known name in the real estate business. I work in the corporate offices which are 15 minutes from home. There I work in the accounting department. I work with accounts payable, entering information into the system and printing checks to mail. I also do a lot of fileing work for myself and four other people. I also do some other random things like opening and dating the mail, putting postage on outgoing mail, running to the bank, and other random things. I started this past Monday with the work day hours 9 to 5, with an hour lunch at 12 noon. So far so good for the first week. It was even pay week so I got paid today. The only down side to the new job is how tired I am after work. All I want to do is sleep. It's a job though, so I can't complain. It will be interesting to see how things go. For now though, I really need a break. :-)
