Summary: 7-Zark-7 watches over those marvellous young people who dedicate their lives to watching over Planet Earth.

~*~

Well, hello there. Here, at Centre Neptune, we're always busy and today is no exception. I'm 7-Zark-7 and I watch over those marvellous young people who dedicate their lives to protecting Planet Earth.

It's been very quiet for the last few days, which probably means that Zoltar, evil Ruler of the Planet Spectra, is busy plotting something. But it does give G Force some much needed down time. They work so hard every day, risking their lives so that the inhabitants of Planet Earth - and the rest of the Solar System - can rest easily in their beds.

I think it's time to check on them. I know I'm not really a member of the team, but I like to think that I help them out in any way that I can. And that includes making sure that they're safe and happy.

Ah. I can see Princess on my scanner. She and young Keyop are working on her bike. She's very talented as well as very beautiful. Just watch the way that her fingers handle that gasket head. I hope Keyop is paying attention. He does have the habit of playing around a little when he should be working, but then he is the youngest member of G Force by a long way. But he could learn a lot from Princess if he watched her as closely as I do.

And there's Tiny, asleep in the command chair of the Phoenix. I hope that the Owl is having good dreams. It certainly seems so from the big smile on his face. It seems that Tiny has also been at the space burgers again. He's had to undo the belt on his trousers again - perhaps I should mention to Chief Anderson that it might be time to monitor his calorific intake.

Oh dear. Jason's trailer appears to be empty. I do hope that the Condor isn't getting himself into any trouble anywhere. He can be a little… impetuous at times. He certainly tries to push the boundaries and I know that sometimes Mark struggles to keep him in order. But at the end of the day, Mark is the leader of G Force and there's a reason that Chief Anderson chose him rather than Jason. Mark is far more level-headed.

Ah. There's Mark. He's at the airfield, of course. And Jason is with him - well, that solves that little mystery. Perhaps Mark is trying to teach Jason to fly - the young man does seem to need a little something to keep him distracted. I'll just tune up my sensors and see if I can get a closer look.

…Oh my. Now that's a little unexpected. I'd better check my data banks and make sure that Jason is all right. I'm not sure why Mark feels the need to tie him to the bed. Perhaps it's one of Zoltar's plots and the Condor has been taken over by the evil forces of Spectra? I'd better turn my audio sensors on as well, just so that I can monitor the situation closely.

Oh dear. It seems that whatever is going on, Jason is begging Mark now. Maybe Mark is the one who's been taken…

Oh my. Jason certainly doesn't sound like he's in pain and… well. I must admit I didn't expect Mark to be quite taken like that. It seems that the Eagle and the Condor have found a way to work out their differences. I should have had faith that the pair of them would manage to put their own feelings aside for the sake of the Earth, although this is certainly a novel approach to things. It's certainly not in any of the approved training manuals, although G Force do tend to lead the field in these things.

I… my circuits seem to be overheating a little bit. Perhaps I should check the thermal controls here in Centre Neptune. It certainly wouldn't be good if anything happened to my circuitry…

Oh my. I'm not the only one having issues. It seems that Jason is overheating as well. He's certainly mentioning something about being, "So hot," although I'm not sure whether all of that thrashing around is going to cool him down any. Oh, it seems that Mark is taking his words to heart. I have to admit that I've never seen that method of cooling someone off. I would never suggest such a thing to Mark, of course, but I would have thought that perhaps splashing him with a little more coolant would work better.

I… I appear to have blown a gasket. I certainly have developed an oil leak. Oh dear. This is a little messy. Perhaps I should call maintenance out.

Although… Princess is a talented girl and she certainly knows how to handle mechanics, even ones as sophisticated as mine. Maybe she could come and help me deal with this gasket. I'd better call her right now.

The End
