nearing the weekend....finally
Went into the high school yesterday and today. i have this research paper for Musics of the World class on Irish Dancing music that i finally started working on. Originally i had planned to interview Ms. MacDougall because i know she does some step dancing. i lucked out though. my break happened to fall the week of the band concert and the Sesquehanna String band had come to play.
They are awesome, and they all either went to or taught at Fredonia. they knew quite a bit about irish music as it is one of their specialties. i sat with them for a while when they had a bit of free time and interviewed them about the musical aspects of irish dancing. Ms. M i saw about more of the actualy dancing part. It was Soooooo much at the concert. i love irish music!
Other then that, my week has been pretty dull, save for an ongoing argument with a friend that i hope to resolve today if possible. hoping to go to potsdam to visit people. not going back to fredonia till tuesday *sigh*. none of my friends have break this week, so it really kinda sucks.
gtg for now. need some food in some form.
