kidnappers release hostage
In the news this morning, Jill Carroll, reporter for the Christian Science Monitor was released by her Iraqi Fundamentalist kidnappers after an 82 day captivity. Ms Carroll announced that she was treated well despite threats to kill her if the terrorists demands were not met (What?!). Tom Cruise agreed to drop his lawsuit against the terrorists but refused to discuss any negotiations to release Katie Homes.
In an ironically similar story halfway around the world, a band of squirrels calling themselves the Fortuna A's released 'Coach Paul' after an 82 minute ordeal. Coach Paul's wife, Tara, was able to provide support throughout the ordeal and secure his release. Coach Paul returned to work this morning despite the emotional torture. No squirrels were harmed during the rescue operation.
