I caught a cold from someone at work and it's one of the worst I've had in a while. It started with a brutal sore throat, then my nose began to run like crazy. Made working very hard, as I always had to blow my nose, then wash my hands. (I work in food service. XP) Then I couldn't sleep at night, so I was dead on my feet at work. Like, I felt dizzy, my vision wouldn't focus, and my hearing (already muffled by congestion) was fading in and out. Yeah. I was a wreck.
I slept real good last night, though, and I feel mostly better. The basic cold stuff is gone; all I have left is a cough. And that in itself is irritating. I feel like I'm constantly choking, and coughing is beginning to really hurt my throat and chest. Ugh. My voice is also gone. I sound like a man. XD
