[locked from abel]
Well, as it's still hard to talk... I suppose I should get all of this out of the way with text.

I offer my sincerest of thank yous to the young man who rescued me. I can't imagine it was easy to find me, nor would it have been particularly pleasant to carry me all the way to the hospital.

Very well.

[The lady friend has prettier eyes than you]

I... I shouldn't be too long.

...

I brought you something.

[That's because they take up half her face.]

Abel... You didn't need to.

Yes I did.

I think you might like it. It'll help you.

[Nuuuhhh, it is. It's prettier and redheads are great conversationalists.]

I'll be by shortly.

[You'll just find him laying on that bed. Thankfully, the burns and cuts are covered, but it'll be hard to ignore the cast on that leg.]

[And here is Abel, moving quietly into the room with an empty measuring cup he managed to scavenge, and something hidden away. Of course, the second he saw Cain, he winced, looking away before he seated himself beside his injured twin.]

I'm glad to see you. [Cain's not having that depressing attitude - it simply irritates him.]

[He forced a smile. Of course, someone with his own face would be able to tell that much.]

Y-yeah...

...

[Those injuries looked horrible. He knew how bad his twin must be hurting.

He also knew a few ways he might be able to help. Even with the chip in, the healing should still work. Just... a little slower than usual.]

Like... like I said...

[He set the measuring cup on a bedside table, standing up by it.]

I brought you something. I... I thought you would be able to use something to help you heal faster.

[The blonde frowned at the sight of that smile - was Abel really so poor an actor? It was comforting in one way, but rather irritating in another.]

Help me... heal...?

[Despite the rasp to his voice, he was able to speak a little clearer. It wasn't easy, but being unable to communicate in person was simply a pain.]

Abel?

[It was then that he took out what he had been hiding. A scalpel, nabbed from some operating room here. He set it beside the measuring cup, before leaning back against the table a little bit.]

I couldn't find a clean syringe. I guess that will have to do for now.

I don't know if it will work, exactly.

[He paused, running a hand through his currently down and disheveled hair.]

But I do know that one of us here has fed recently... And one of us is... in dire need of it.

[He'd never expected this... For Abel to willingly offer him his own blood was truly a thing of beauty. How ever many if, ands, or buts there were involved in it, Cain couldn't even begin to process them right now.

Regardless, he reached out, gently touching the other's arm. Mustering the most compassionate, caring expression he could.]

You... don't have to.

But... thank you.

[He settled in the chair after dragging it a little closer to the edge of that bedside table. When Cain touched his arm, he brushed his twin off.]

I do... I can't even imagine the pain you are in right now, because of me. You won't be getting any other donors here. I'm sure that no one else will show up to feed you. And I am the only other one here with nanomachines. It's for the best.

Besides, I have enough to spare.

Someone... gave me something for the pain. I don't feel... anything at the moment.

... Alright.
