Online class?

My 2 classes for the fall were Tuesday night 5-8:20 and Thursday morning 8:30-11:50. I got an email from the prof for the Thursday class yesterday saying due to scheduling conflicts the section I was in is cancelled. There are 3 other sections though. Two sections are Tuesday night the same time as my other class or online Saturday mornings. I need to ask my friend, but she took this class online also. I need to know if I have to be online during the scheduled meeting time 8:30am-11:50am or if thats just when we would have to meet if we ever have to meet on campus.

I'm all for an online class because I can do it from anywhere and I can do it any time (I hope).

In other news I'm going to Cedar Point on the 31st.
