I need new lungs!
Bronchitis hates me this time. I got sick the day after Memorial Day which is 2 weeks ago. I went to the doctor the Tuesday after that and he put me on antibiotics (a zpack - 5 days of pills that last 10 days). I felt fine Friday night, Saturday, Sunday. Monday I started coughing again and I'm like wtf is this? Yesterday/Wednesday we went to urgent care because my doctor is closed in wednesdays and we wanted to make sure it wasn't anything more serious because I'm going to Australia in 6 days.
Nope. Its just evil bronchitis this time. the PA, Cristina at urgent care gave me a breathing treatment there with albuterol and this other drug that works well but i don't have it. My lungs sounded better afterwards and my spirometer test was better so that made Cristina happy. She said she didn't want to do another antibiotic yet but gave me cough syrup with codeine, a nasal spray and told me to take mucinex DM. So I may be taking my breathing machine and drugs with me with Australia but all is good...just annoying
