And now its Friday
I got my stitches out but its opened up a little bit in 2 places. We went to the clinic today but surgeons are only there Monday and Thursday (the rest of the time its only peds). The nurse gave us my surgeon's phone number and shes in the same building so we went up to her office but they weren't open yet. After 9, I called my surgeon's office and the nurse said none of them were in today. But she told me that what happened is common with my surgery. I need to keep it covered, go to the ER if it gets worse, call her back to update her on Tuesday and go to the clinic on Thursday.
Ears - not infected!! My eustation tubes are angry due to allergies and stuff and they're staying open too long. I need to take a decongestant with my allergy pill and drink more water and go back in 2 weeks.
Ovarian cyst? I saw my gyno today and he used a portable ultrasound. The cyst rupurted and its been hurting for about 2 weeks. I had surgery 2 weeks ago. I'm pretty sure my nice drugs kept me from feeling the full ow-ness of that rupture so yay. He also saw a couple follicles on my ovary - they're like cyst babies. He said to try taking my birth control continuously for 3 months, in other words don't have a period. That will surpress things more.
Class yesterday was looonnnggg. It didn't help that sitting in that chair for 3 hours made my butt pretty sore. I think this class will be fun, though :D I get to learn more about Social Studies and how to teach it. Woo!!
