Cars and rain and raises

Yesterday my car, aptly named Woody after the character on Crossing Jordan because he is a pain in the ass, got a crack in the exhaust pipe so it was really loud as if there were no muffler. And i had just washed it yesterday too. That of course lead to the all day raining today. This morining I took Woody to Firestone for an oil change then to Midas to look at the loud noise where we discovered it was the crack in the pipe. I love my mom. She paid for my car stuff. $19 for an oil change and $150 for the repair and Woody was good as new. However he tends to be contagious - mom's car had a flat tire. We called AAA and they put air in it then she took it to Firestone - they know us really well there. So! By noonish both cars were fixed. Yay!
Very nice that its been pouring on and all off day and storming. I love storms.
After the bad news of the cars I found out i got a raise today! 50 cents. I now make $11/hour. I totally rock!! It will be just that much easier to save up for Australia now :D.
Tomorrow is the root canal specialist and the apicoectomy :p
