Hanging out and happiness!
So I'm not sure how many of you have actually known or noticed, but I have been INCREDIBLY happy the past couple weeks, especially this last one. Well, I have been and that's because someone has been making me Smile! You can ask me about if you want, but I'm sure if you see me and even slightly mention it, I'll Smile and you'll know! Lol!
Also, I went to go get lunch with Meagan today and to catch up on stuff, which was really great! I just wanted to make her feel better, which I hope that I helped with. I wanted her to know that to a certain extent, I at least understood what she was talking about, especially with needed support and comfort from friends. I love you Meags and I know you will feel better soon! It really is true, if you're sad, many people will be dissappointed because you want be able to brighten up their days, me including!
Well, I'm being bad and skipping band tonight, but I'm not even officially registered on the roster, so it's not that big a deal, I just feel kind of guilty...oh well, maybe I should tell them...tell me what you think, lol! But because I'm not going to band I should actually do some work on my essay tonight, instead of hanging out with other people...;) Hey, maybe I can do both...hmm...it will be a test of my willpower and courage, lol! If anyone knows anything about Monteverdi and his opera L'Orfeo, or even opera in general, please let me know! I met with my prof today and got my peer reviews back yesterday, and it seems like they think I'm doing a good job, but I don't know if it's one of those situations where the teacher gives you stuff to work on in your essay, but still gives you a low grade for it. I don't understand why they do that. Cause if you keep some of it the same cause they didn't comment it at all, what tells you that it's bad, but you still get marked down for it?! Man! Also, I did NOT put a lot of work and effort into this paper, so I don't know how or why people think it is good. Whatever! I should get to work...or at least take a nap! ;)
