Busy Busy Busy
You can tell how much I want and need to go to Cape Town, South Africa by the fact that I am beginning to prioritize my week so I finish my Cape Town application and make sure it is well-written, over a Shakespeare paper that is also due on Friday. I also just got my rehearsal and show schedule for Into the Woods, and of course, it takes up SO much time and there are a couple conflicts. I'm going to email my music director though, and I already talked to Alysa, who said she would cover for me. It's just that opening night I have a band concert at the same time, and let's not even think about the fact that Brad would MURDER me for missing the concert, but we are playing Lincolnshire Posy, aka 2 1/3 of the 6 movements have massive picc solos that I am playing. That's exciting, but aah conflicts! Hopefully it will all work out well. I'm also jumping back in deep for Toast stuff, considering it is in about two weeks. AAAAHHHH! I can do this, I can do this. I HATE that it is basically too late now to back out of wearing TOC but ARGH! This will NOT be happening next year, no matter if I am in Cape Town or not being in charge. Whatever. I've brought this all on myself, and I'm going to be cutting in close in terms of work and rehearsals, but luckily enough piccs are doing the baseball and softball games, so I don't have to worry TOO much about making it to all of those. And instead of doing work right now, I'm just sitting around. Awesome!
