Viktoria

Well she's here. My German exchange student moved in yesterday afternoon and is going to be here until Aug. 30th. Yesterday we took her to T.G.I. Friday's and the mall to show her a lil of St. Charles. She already went to the arch when she got here with all of the other exchange students and wants to go many other places. This summer I plan on taking her to a concert at UMB, the zoo, Six Flags, Waplehorse, the rec plex, bowling, mini golfing, down to main street, to Mizzou when I move in on the 14th, and random restaurants to let her try St. Louis style food. She already heard we have good ice cream and pizza and is very interesting it trying it. She seems really really nice and smart. By the way her name is Viktoria, she's 21, born in Russia, lives in Germany now, is studding to be a mechanical engineer, and likes to play sports. She is interested in learning about our culture and meeting lots of people. If anyone has any ideas of places I can take her or would like to go with her and I please let me know. She speaks really good English and I can completely understand her when she talks. Sometimes she doesn’t understand what we are saying and needs to look it up but mostly she knows English well. She took 9 years of English and 6 years of French. She wrote in German on my sister’s cast (yes she broke her arm again) I hope we have an exciting time while I'm visiting. Maybe she will take me back to Germany with her...how nice would that be. PS she has very cute German friends!
