I'm loving what you're doing, A, with these hued poems of yours! Really nice, clean work. Tell me. Do you know David Whyte's poetry and/or his True Sound jungian analyses? I think you would resonate if you don't know him. Try "What to Remember When Waking".

No, but I will look him up. Many of my favorite poets focus on sparseness these days.

This kind of reminds me of when I visited Lake Tahoe when there was still a lot of snow. It was something I'd never experienced before, seeing snow on a sandy beach.

You probably know my fondness for geese, but "fingers rubbed over ice" is a pretty apt description of their calls at times.

I love being able to sit outside and write poetry about the world around me. This is a lovely snapshot of your moment.
