Can you imagine? That would have been a real misreading of the situation, at least from my perspective. If he was trying to flirt with me, he certainly had a disturbing way of showing it. Honestly, I've never been able to figure it out, but he had some sort of obsession with me, and it wasn't a healthy one.

I have been in several situations - and seen far far more, so it was certainly not "just me" - but the abuser/stalker/rapist is "excused" because obviously "she was leading him on"
