Hahahahaha! Is this a true thing about cons? I've never been, but it sounds clever and plausible.

This was great - It's not that I mind being sat on; it just makes conversation... awkward.

It is a true phenomenon, occurring primarily at the turn of the millennium. Those who do it today are quickly quieted. :) Glad you liked that line; it made me giggle, too.

Actually, it is! By the time I joined the Otakon staff in 2001, people were already starting to get a bit sick of it. Only some old-school people occasionally dredge it up today. Glad you enjoyed it!
