This past year, I made slow and steady progress in cleaning and decluttering my house; seeking and finding some publishing opportunities; and of course, nurturing and expanding opportunities for my little Kung Fu Panda.
I've posted my specific goals in a couple areas on the blogs dedicated to those topics:
- For my writing goals, see
my author's blog at AlyceWilson.com.
- My long-term goal in fitness is to lose my last 30 pounds of pregnancy weight. For my year-end summary of this year's progress and more details about specific action goals, visit my fitness LJ,
renewmom,
End of Year Update. One update that doesn't appear there: I've signed up for a Kickboxing class at the YMCA (in addition to the Zumba and Water Aerobics classes I already take)! I'm really looking forward to it, because I took a pick-up class with the instructor on Monday, and my biceps still feel it.
- My parenting goals can be found
at my Belated Mommy blog.
As far as other goals are concerned, I would like to continue my progress in home organization. To do that, I will continue to use
FlyLady.net as a guideline. I'm going to start practicing her recommendation to tackle something once a week that I've been procrastinating over. With this goal in mind, I've revised and updated my master To Do list on Google Docs, so that I can pull something off that list at least once a week.
Most importantly, I'm resolving to go easy on myself, to acknowledge that setbacks happen and to be willing to celebrate small successes.
