Biggest challenges -Doing LJ Idol and making time for writing. Personnel issues, and being willing to be the boss and not the friend. I'm glad I had this challenge, because it led directly to taking time to focus on writing and avoiding burn-out.
Greatest joy - travel in India, learning how to set a routine with writing time in it, and winning LJ Idol.
What I hope - that I can re-frame my circus business to focus on both making more money and getting to personally do the parts I love, with more creative projects that still make money, and that I can continue to work hard towards publication.
This is a terrific meme, thanks!

My biggest accomplishment was increasing the income I earned from writing, despite balancing writing with toddler care.
My biggest challenge has been losing weight, where it seems like every time I lose a few pounds I bounce right up again or go even higher.
My greatest joy has been watching my son continue to develop and grow. Each day he says or does something that makes me smile.
For 2013, I hope to spur on my weight loss with a new diet plan, the Virgin Diet, that is based on the concept of food intolerance being a big factor in losing stubborn pounds. It makes a lot of sense for me, because her typical client is someone who's had difficulty losing or has even gained despite watching calories and exercising.
