Ride the Resolution Train

As I try to do every year, I'm going to set some resolutions, some goals to achieve. First, though, I'd like to assess last year's goals.

We're terrible at saving unless it's done automatically for us, such as my husband's 401(k). So I'm hoping that we can set up a 529 and have automatic payments made to it. In addition, we need to start a "house or bigger place" fund. Little steps would add up over time.

Doesn't it, though? Good luck with the house hunting! My sister and her husband just found one they liked for a great price. I'm soooo jealous.
