I'm feeling more like home

I am breathing a little easier today
The afternoon was cool, but my smile was warm
I felt cold yet comfortable in my shoes tonight
As we sat outside the co-ed dorms

Among a sister and a few of the guys
These people were just growing kids like me
We all have emotions or indsecurities inside
But none of us cared what the others could see

We are young and we laughed among our new friends
while the strawberry hookah was casually passed
And I was nobody more or less than myself
One day I'll smile and say college went by too fast
