All you need is love

Vlad and I took a bus to Abbey Road studios

Before you ask, yes the rumours are true.

(This is the motto some Israeli friends and I came up with while visiting St Peter beside a river in Peru)

After this we went to Camden market and *fuck me* that place is awesome. The crafts and clothing is amazing. I wish I had a chance to blog about it sooner for the details.

I bought some things for myself and my partners and friends. These items were purchased from my favourite thing in London: Cyber dog. It is a giant rave shop in Camden and, I tell you, if I had more money and space in my pack, I would have gone to town. The place is basically a rave all the time and is filled with the most amazing stuff, like a sprinkle dispensing unicorn for cupcakes! Best ever! I bought that for Jeanette. Mauricio gets rainbow stick-on lipstick for festivals. The clothes there are out of this world, literally. Most of it looked like it came straight out of a Jetsons cartoon. The patterns were way cool and, wow, the accessories!

Just when I thought this place couldn't get more amazing we walked downstairs to find a basement filled with sex toys and spanking implements!

After Camden we went up [. . .] Hill to enjoy a view of London before Vlad went to work.

Alone for the first time in a while, I went back to Camden to have another look in cyber dog- but this time tried on some clothes. Afterwards I wandered along a street and found an amazing specialist music shop filled with instruments from all over the world. I had a good chat with the guy who worked there. Apparently this street was were all the freaks are. They actually lock the door to keep out the school kids. I had to ring a bell to get in. Soon after I tried to get home but found that I had lost my Oyster card! I still made it to the Beatles shop and the rock and roll shop across the road near Baker Street. Neither of which I was particularly interested in, I was kind of shopped out.

I did make it to Queen Mary's garden, which was in the centre of another garden near by. I was bloody exhausted at this stage but I found the strength to press on. I have never been to a rose garden (as far as I remember), and it was so lovely to wander around, to pause and to smell. I met a little Italian boy lying on the grass. I managed to muster up enough Italian/Spanish to communicate with him. He was lying on the grass with a shelled peanut in his hand. I asked him what he was doing and suddenly, this squirrel ran up, snatched it, and ran away! "Que preciosa!" I exclaimed at the sorpresa (surprise).

He had more peanuts and with another in his hand we waited. Before long the squirrel popped out again! I eventually worked out that the squirrel was burying the nuts, then coming back for more. I've never seen a squirrel before. Here is a photo. I forget the boys name.

Afterwards, as I walked away his mum looked at me like I was some sort of pedophile. I felt a little insulted that you can't play with a kid in a public space without people being suspicious.
