Time has come for a real home-made pesto!!! I always used to buy it in jars and now let me say that however fancy and expensive that little jar was, it would never compare to the fresh,home-made one!
It is incredibly easy to make. The recipe is from the book "Pasta" by NGV..
Here are the Ingredients:
one tablespoon of pine nuts
a bundle of basil
one big clove of garlic
salt & pepper
3 tablespoons of parmesan
app.1/2 dl of olive oil
I actually didn't follow those amounts and did my own version, which can be described as " more is better" :)
