Early morning conversations with a five year old boy
My son came into my bedroom before the sun was up the other morning. His first thing after kissing me good morning was to start talking. He tends to say things when I am sooo not ready for them too. It's a child's gift I suppose and I love that about my kids. Though, this morning he had me trying so hard not to laugh. Here was why.
Son: mommy, I don't think little boys should have crotches.
Me: ok, but why?
Son: because if they don't have crotches then they dont have balls. Because when you push on them they hurt. So, I don't think little boys should have balls.
Me: well I guess you shouldn't push on them.
Son: I know. But I still think little boys shouldn't have them.
Oh he made me smile so big! Then my kids got ready for school and I got a large coffee. Hahahaha.
