i'm giving up fast food.
1. they use to much paper and plastic and recycle nothing; although some use recycled paper. think about it. paper straw wrappers, cups, wrappers, containers, posters, even stupid stuff like crowns and tray insets. plastic straws, lids, cups, dip cups, and wrappers on toys.
2. drive-throughs endorse air pollution through vehicles. also, they endorse obesity. see point four.
3. the animals are treated really badly before they are killed for those places. kfc treats their chickens horribly, and people actually die at mcdonald's meat factories by drowning in the blood.
4. they contribute the most to obesity through the selfish urge of convenience. (burger king and mcdonalds have yet to cut trans fat out of their diets; others have found substitutes.)
i had my last burger king today, some chicken fries.
