Read A THOUSAND ACRES written by Jane Smiley
I have never read a better book. In fact I have never cried over a book. I bawl during movies and even over happy things on Animal Planet, but books just never did it for me.
There is one part that just made me cry and for an instant made me feel that same horrible emotional pain I felt more than a year ago. It so bothered me that I had to wake Matt up and talk to him at 12:30 at night when he had to get up early.
When Ginny finds out that the man she loves was actually making love to her sister the entire time she depended on his love and presence.
The end made me cry also.
And I know it sounds soap opera like but it't not one of those books with the huge blond guy on the ship that looks like Fabio sailing with this D cup broad/mermaid on the open sea. Its extremely well written. It touched me. She's just an unbelievable writer and this novel was truly a work of art.
