Accept me for who I am, damnit!
Slept over Sarah’s last night. Twas so much fun! John (The Big Fella) was there and later on Sarah and I made our own punk necklaces! Mine is short from a choker though…and I <3 it!
I am SO glad I went to work today. We ended up taking the kids outside today and 4 of the girls were on the swings. And as I was sitting across from them, they began chanting together (for no reason): “Christina is pretty. Christina is pretty. Christina is pretty…ect.” Then they started chanting: “Christina in nice. Christina is nice…ect.” It made me feel good…
Then I got home and that was another story…I was wearing the choker I had made last night…and my dad goes: “One step closer to Goth. Its uglier than sin!” Gee dad…make me feel good about myself. I feel so much better now than I ever have…and that’s thanks to Sarah…Why can’t my parents accept my changes? Honestly…mom and Emee got on my case about it too…F-off!
