Went to Grag's house today for a little Memorial Day cookout with him, his mom, his sis, and Theo. Twas fun...
Last
night Dad, Emee, and I watched the last 1/2 hour of the Titanic. Even
though Leonardo DiCaprio isn't one of my favorite actors, his
performance as Jack Dawson always leaves me feeling like I've lost
someone as my own...like him. Ah nevermind. That's just plain
confusing! >.<' Anyhoo...the theme song/love song "My Heart Will
Go On" always leaves me feeling with a sense of understanding...its
leaves me with a sense of loneliness as well...that's the depressing
part...
"Titanic
was called 'The ship of Dreams'. And it was...it really was." That is
what Rose said as one of the commentaries for the Titanic. The REAL
Rose "Dawson" though...And now when I listen to the love song of the
Titanic sung by Celine Dion, especially the remix with added
commentaries, I just feel as though I could soar forever...above anyone
and anything...and as I type this entry, I listen to "My Heart Will Go
On" by Celine Dion and I can feel the...the POWER of all that had
happened on the Titanic between those two people who had come to love
eachother so damn much. Download it...and close your eyes...try to find
the remix...I guarentee it'll make your heart feel like nothing
else...it will leave you feeling breathless...and hopeful that there
really is true love out there...
Here
are the following lyrics...I personally typed in the words spoken for
the remix...so forgive me if its a little off...At least I tried...
My Heart Will Go On
(Love Theme From 'Titanic')
(Beginning…)
“Are you ready to go back to Titanic?”
Rose:
“Its been 84 yrs and I can still smell the fresh paint. The china had
never been used. Titanic was called 'The Ship of Dreams’…and it was…it
really was.”
(music begins)
Every night in my dreams
I see you. I feel you.
That is how I know you go on.
Jack: “You let go and…and I’m gonna have to jump in after ya.”
Far across the distance
And spaces between us
You have come to show you go on.
Rose: “Mr. Dawson-“
Jack: “-Jack-”
Rose: “-I want to thank you for what you did.”
Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Jack: “Do you love him?”
Rose: “Pardon me?”
Jack: “Do you love him?”
Rose: “You shouldn’t be asking me this.”
Jack: “Well it’s a simple question.”
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on
Love can touch us one time
And last for a lifetime
And never let go till we're gone
Rose: “You have the gift, Jack. You see people.”
Jack: “I see you.”
Love was when I loved you
One true time I hold to
In my life we'll always go on
Rose: “You’d love to be that boy again.”
Jack: “I can’t turn away without knowing you’ll be alright.”
Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Rose: “I’ll be fine. Really.”
Jack: “They’ve got you trapped, Rose.”
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on
(ship has sunk, Rose is on a
floating wooden door, Jack floating beside her, clinging to life…sound
of water and Jack struggling to breathe)
Rose: “Its getting quiet.”
Jack: “Don’t you do that.”
Rose: “I love you, Jack.”
Jack: “Don’t say your goodbyes. Not yet. Do you understand me?”
Rose: “I’m so cold.”
Jack: “You’re gonna die an old…an old lady, warm in her bed. Not here…Not his night.”
You're here, there's nothing I fear,
And I know that my heart will go on
We'll stay forever this way
You are safe in my heart
And my heart will go on and on
Jack: “Winning that ticket,
Rose, was the best thing that ever happened to me…It brought me to you.
And I’m thankful for that, Rose. You must do me this honor. You must
promise me-that you’ll survive.”
Rose: “I’ll never let go, Jack. I’ll never let go.”
(music ends softly...)
Try to download it...and then you'll know how I feel.
Later
Love always,
Tia
