Stupid fucking LJ. I was re-doing my color scheme at 2:00 in the morning, like any normal person would, when it goes and fucks it all up. All of my damn color choices got erased, but I fixed it. Because I am a badass ( Read more... )

College dropout is totally amazing. I have not listened to any album this much in such a long time. I bought this in March and have not gotten sick of it yet. Definitely check out some of the artists featured if you haven't already. Common, Mos Def, Talib Kweli. Anything Kanye touches is just incredible. I couldn't resist commenting on any post mentioning Kanye.

I don't have any downloading clients because my computer keeps getting viruses, so I just have to hear enough of an artist on the radio, or through other people, to actually get the motivation to go buy the cd. That damn "Workout" song got me. I am completely in love with the cd, and haven't stopped listening to it since I bought it. I'll try to check out the other artists on the cd, but I don't know when I will have the money to do so.

I didn't have any downloading clients for the longest time either. If you have a fast connection, people can always send you files through instant messenger. I would also be happy to make you a data cd of some of those artists, or any others you would like to have. This is how I get all of my music. I only purchase the albums which amaze me, College Dropout being one of possibly ten in the past year.

Somewhat off-subject, have you heard anything from The Grey Album, the Danger Mouse mix of Jay-Z's Black Album and The Beatles White Album? Whether you like Jay-Z or not, it is definitely worth hearing. If you do like Jay-Z, even just a little, I also strongly reccomend his unplugged set, featuring Mary J. Blige and The Roots. All totally amazing.

I do have a really fast internet connection, but I haven't downloaded AIM again, for fear of getting another virus. The AIM route can't be taken until I actually get around to downloading it.
If you wanted to make me a cd with any of those artists on it, I would gladly accept, though I don't know when I would see you to get it.
About the Jay-Z thing, I hadn't even heard of that cd until I read that. I liked him a few years ago, but then hated him until recently, so I think I could actually enjoy it.

I will make you a data cd for you to put onto your computer so you can make actual cds of whatever songs you end up enjoying. I can just give it to somebody to give to you, like Bobby, since he practically lives with me and I will definitely end up seeing him.
