A happy post.
This weekend was definitely what I needed after the way I've been feeling the past few weeks. It was filled with beer, rum, the hookah, old friends, new ones, music, dancing, walks, and perfect Chicago weather. It made me feel like myself again to be so happy around people, and made me realize how much some people still care. I had an absolutely amazing time, and can now can only think about my next slew of days off so that I can go back.
And in the midst of partying I may have found a roommate! This means that I won't have to feel like I'm taking a step back by moving in with my parents. I have enjoyed the independence of living on my own, and don't want to have to give it up when my lease ends here at the end of July. If this roommate situation goes through, I am going to be thrilled.
