I Love to Boogie!

Went to math class tonight. The test I thought I failed was returned, and I actually got a D. Amazingly, I my grade in the whole class is somewhere between an A and a B right now. I'm doing a whole lot better than I thought I would! Jennifer and I have decided to set aside a time once a week where we can get together and work on our homework. We've also promised each other that we'll take Statistics together next fall.

Speaking of Jennifer, I skipped my lab class tonight and she and I went out to dinner and just talked for like 2 and a half hours. She's the first *real* friend I've made in college that I actually like enough to hang out with. I don't know, at junior college, I've just fallen into this pattern of going to school, not talking to anyone, doing what I need to do, and leaving. But she's turning out to be a great friend, and I'm glad I met her.

Things are going well. Mary Kay's going well. My relationship is awesome and I'm very glad that I decided to get over my commitment-phobia and make things "official." He's so wonderful to me, and I'm excited to spend more time with him and to watch our relationship grow. I feel very lucky. Everything else is going well, so I really don't have much to write about. Imagine that... I don't write in the lj when good things happen, only when there's drama I need to vent about. :-)

Goal for the week: Realize that Paul is his own person and stop comparing him to past relationships. I can't hold others' mistakes against him. He's not them, and I need to learn to accept that.

The moral of the story is: ::big grin::

I <3 the good times,
~*Kim*~
