More fall updates and summer adventures

Don't have much time to post. Six minutes in fact. I've discovered that I really like science when I visited Museum of Science and Industry yesterday, and I enjoy teaching people things/explaining things. It makes me feel confident, useful, intelligent, and important, and good about my decision to be a college professor. I'm going to go back there to see their Green home exhibit on one of their free admission days in September.

My dad and billie and I sat down and figured out we have enough cash to cover the fall semester, without touching the college fund, which is good, because of the expenses of taking a course next summer. Even though housing is only 640 dollars, I think I will just live at home and get a metra monthly unlimited train pass, or a bunch of 10 rides. I think I will have to take the course at roosevelt because UIC doesn't offer a lab for their course. It will be in the evening, only two nights a week, which is perfect for after I spend the day at the zoo, and doesn't necessitate living on campus which is just as far from downtown as home is. I can hopefully find a job at the zoo doing something. Angela's going to be taking courses there too next summer, which is another perk.

Only 2 weeks left until the olympic games. I'm incredibly excited. And I'm excited for training starting for track in the fall as well. I hope the sports center isn't too much a mess. There doing major construction on it, and I don't want to wake up to bobcats and cranes and things in the morning.

college, careers
