SNOW! TRAUMA! YAY!
I'm pretty sure I have the motherload of all entries coming up soon, but first I will quickly summarize so you can build your anticipation.
Yesterday:
-Drove to Beach
-Stayed in $300 room
-Bought really super ridiculous diamonds for super ridiculous amounts of money on a total impulse buy
-Watched it SNOW on the BEACH
-Awesome
Today:
-Woke up in an amazing bed
-Saw the beach covered in a blanket of snow and the ocean crashing about.
-Did beachy things for awhile
-Left for Portland
-Easy drive through blizzard home
-Christmas tree adventure to put all other adventures to shame
-Nearly died
-Nearly died
-Nearly died
-Nearly died
-HOME!
During the "Snow Blast 08" on the worst weather day of the year, when they advise you not to drive unless you MUST, I took my tiny, old, breaking down 2-wheel drive shitty car over a mountain pass, through a blizzard, up a backwoods mountain that wasn't even graveled, downtown, and back home. All to have a vacation and get a Christmas tree. Not exactly... necessary things. Hhahahahahahahahahah!
