[Remus steps out of the library and into a cacophony of confusion; a quick skim of his journal reveals nothing much, only that there's been a sudden flood of new arrivals

soon enough he's wandering carefully through the chaos, grateful that he knows the town rather well by now; he keeps an eye out for anyone who needs help, or is causing trouble]

[Did somebody say trouble? Have a trouble-magnet wandering over to you, looking rather confused] Er, hello! Can you tell me where I am?

[thank goodness, some simple helping] Hello. You're in a village called Luceti.

[charmandsmiles]

[frowns] How'd I end up here? Granted, it's a bit better than clinging to an iceberg, but I'd rather get back to my ship...not the one that sunk, mind you.

[alwaysmoony]

[going to stare a bit] ...That does rather put things in perspective.

People are pulled from all sort of times and worlds. No one's certain how they do it, even whether it's magic or technology.

[charmandsmiles]

[he is a bit damp, on closer inspection] What d'you mean?

[grins though, at the explanation] Ooh, a nexus point. Multidimensional maybe, if you're not joking about magic. Which world are you from? And more importantly, what time?

[alwaysmoony]

I like this place a bit better than home, but compared to an ice berg it must be paradise.

[and his eyes widen] 1997. You're taking this surprisingly well. ...The year is more important than the universe?

[charmandsmiles]

[grins] Sort of, yeah. Couldn't resist a good bit of disaster tourism, though.

Oh this sort of thing's a piece of cake for me. [pauses] Nothing's more important than Time. Location's a close second, though.
