(no subject)
hey guys if theres any ppl that actually read this lol. I actually had a few interesting days lately, so i thought id update!
well anyway, Thursday was the start of mini courses. oh man what a day that was! lol My mini course for Thursday was a hiking trip up to Racebrook Falls.
first..i get to school late. lol thats not a huge surprise, i'm sure. But give me a break! They wanted us there at 7 am! and i wasnt the last one there! haha
then...ms PC and mrs halliday get us {Katiegrace, Cydney, Cori, Devon, Camille, Cara, Kristen, Aly, Lee, Deanna, and Lauren)lost, or so we thought. we stopped for directions at two places, some old guy and at an autism center. lol we ended up going back to one of the Trails that we stopped at first.
Then my pizza falls out of my brown bag, and i dont feel like pickin it up lol, so i leave it there. After a little while, we had to hike up a reallllly steep mountainish type landform, and that was quite interesting since i wore sandals. lol I ended up leaving my notebook {to journal} and the rest of my lunch halfway up the mountainish thing.
We finally get to some big rocks where we can rest, eat lunch, draw/journal, and talk near the waterfall. It was so pretty up there, and of course my camera wasn't working! It probably was still able to show the pictures i had from tour, but i couldnt take any new pictures. Rather, i couuuuld take pictures, but they came out black.
Then De wanted to call someone. And we ended up calling Carla, who's a lucky duck and is on Choir Tour! As De was handing me the phone, her hand gets bumped and the phone almost falls down to the waterfall! lol It was caught in time so its fine.
Thennn after staying at the waterfall forrr..45 min/1 hr maybe? i dont know we hiked back down, this time on the other side, which was so much easier and wasn't as steep.
Then we stopped at Friendlys and got ice cream to end our trip!
Friday's mini course was Flamenco & Latino Dancing. In that class was Analiese, Indy {the only guy}, Cori, Kristen, Rebekah, Amy, and Jill. After the bell rang we read through a guide on types of Latino dancing, watched some examples, and danced a little. haha... At about 9:45 we left to go to Mechanics Hall to see two shows. The first was Flamenco-it was really long and dragged some- and the second was...dancing in Peru? lol something like that. Then we stopped at Tony's Pizza on the way back to school, even though most people didnt get anything there.
Today I went shopping and out to eat at some Chinese food place with Emily! I hadnt seen her in such a long time before today, so it was good to see her! Soon after i got home, i went for a walk around the block {lol i needed exercise and it is such a niiiiice day! (aka: spring)} while listening to the Wow CD. Once around the block is about .5 mile and i think i did five laps. You do the math.
