[Oricon] BTS gets first place single
BTS, the 7 member Korean boyband, has gotten first place single with "Chi, Ase, Namida (Blood, Sweet and Tears)". Their 7th Japanese single has sold over 200,000 copies. They are also the fastest overseas artists to have sales of a single exceed 200,000 copies.
BTS debuted in Japan in 2014 with the Japanese version of the single "NO MORE DREAM". This single is the Japanese version of their hit "Blood, Sweat and Tears" that had a music video exceeding 100 million hits on youtube. The first week sales of this single also exceed their "Run" Japanese version which sold about half that with 124,000 copies in its first week.
